Facilities & Accommodation
Perpetual Care provides Service Users with fully furnished bedrooms that have all been tastefully decorated to a high standard. At Morden Grange, all seven bedrooms are en-suite or have their own bathroom facilities and flat screen televisions.
From the point of admission, we consider the Service User to be at home and encourage the personalisation of bedrooms with their own pieces of furniture, electrical items (subject to PAT Testing), room decorations (this may involve risk assessments) and any other personal items that are deemed appropriate.
Perpetual Care provides support that is person orientated and tailored to meet individual needs and aspirations. This extends to activities throughout the day and evening.
A wide range of recreational activities are employed to ensure that the service user receives a varied activity plan. This increases both the service user’s social skills and also helps to build therapeutic relationships between staff and service user.
Each Service User is allocated a key worker who will work closely with them, their families and any professionals involved to create individual and group activities that will be of a significant benefit to them. Our key workers also support and supervise contact with families, often transporting the Service Users all over the North West when necessary.
