Somerset House is a large six bed-roomed Edwardian residential care home in Bolton, Lancashire. Somerset House provides residential care accommodation for up to six adults with mental health problems. Perpetual Care accepts placements for adults between the ages of 18-65 male and female. Prior to admission a potential resident will be offered the opportunity to visit the house on several occasions including overnight stays. Fees are subject to assessment prior to admission. The staff team within the mental health care area comprises of a registered care manager, deputy care manager, two senior residential support workers (one of whom is the activities co-ordinator) and five residential support workers. Perpetual Care also has an experienced, reliable bank team. Staffing at Somerset House is 24hour with a sleep in night on duty every night. During the day Perpetual Care has sufficient staff numbers to allow residents are able to participate in chosen activities and are offered one-to-one time.
